Your Salkantay trek experience begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel. We will take a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside to reach Mollepata, where we’ll stop for a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we’ll make our way to the starting point of the trek at a small village called Challacancha.

We’ll begin our adventure early in the morning, picking you up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. to start the Salkantay trek. After a 2-hour drive to Mollepata, we’ll have breakfast before continuing to Cruzpata, where the trek begins.
Our team will pack all the necessary camping gear and cooking supplies while you prepare for the hike. The first leg of the journey will be a 2-hour hike through the Andean Mountains, offering stunning views of the landscape and snow-capped peaks.
Our destination for the day is a scenic campsite located in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains, including Humantay (4120m/13500ft) and Salkantay (6271m/20575ft). We’ll arrive in time for lunch and then continue on a 2-hour hike to Humantay Lake, an incredible turquoise lake surrounded by breathtaking peaks. After exploring the area, we’ll return to our campsite to rest and enjoy a hearty dinner.
This will be the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the stars and feel the tranquility of the Andes.

Our Salkantay adventure starts bright and early with a delicious breakfast before we embark on our trek at around 7:00 am. It will be a challenging four-hour uphill hike to the highest point of the trail (4650m/15200ft)
Where we will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the magnificent Salkantay and Tucarhuay mountains.
If we’re lucky, we might even see some snowfall. After taking in the stunning scenery and capturing some memorable photographs, we will make our way back down to Soraypampa for a well-deserved lunch and some rest. From there, we will head to Ollantaytambo by bus and take a train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

We start our day early, with a 4:00 am wake-up call followed by breakfast at 4:30 am. We then begin our hike to Machu Picchu, which takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Alternatively, if you prefer a more leisurely ascent, you can take the first bus at 5:30 am for a 25-minute ride to Machu Picchu and witness the stunning sunrise over the ancient city.
Our guide will lead a 2-hour walking tour of the ruins, and after that, you’ll have the option to explore the city at your own pace. If you’re feeling adventurous and have the energy, you can climb Huayna Picchu (2720m/8890ft) in just 45 minutes.
